Annual Conference & Expo (ACE) 2020
Due to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak and related travel restrictions placed on our healthcare provider members, the West Virginia Academy of Nutrition and Dietetic Executive Committee has made the difficult decision to cancel our in-person WVAND Annual Conference & Expo (ACE) scheduled for April 23-24, 2020 in Lansing, WV.
With growing evidence that COVID-19 can be transmitted quickly and easily, and an increasing number of organizations and institutions implementing travel bans, the justification to cancel the meeting has become clear. While it was our hope to provide attendees with a successful event, our concern for your well-being and communities superseded that desire.
We will have our annual business meeting of the members and Academy updates via webinar on Apr 23, 2020 at 3:00 PM EDT. There is no cost to participate. Participants will received 1.5 Continuing Professional Education Units (CPEU).
Persons that have registered for the conference will be contacted individually to discuss refund options. If you have made lodging arrangement, you are responsible for cancelling your own reservation. Please refer to your housing confirmation to cancel directly with Adventures on the Gorge.

General Meeting Information
The West Virginia Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics Annual Conference & Expo (ACE) provides attendees with an engaging educational experience, showcasing updates in the field, and highlighting areas impacting the Mountain State.
The broad range of conference sessions will be of interest to Registered Dietitian Nutritionists and other allied health professionals in health care, public health, school nutrition, sports nutrition and nonprofit organizations and individuals involved with nutrition focused health outcomes.
Continuing Professional Education Units (CPEU)
The WVAND FNCE program will be submitted to the Commission on Dietetic Registration for CPEUs for registered dietitian nutritionists (RDNs), registered dietitians (RDs), nutrition and dietetics technicians, registered (NDTRs), and dietetic technicians, registered (DTRs).
